OU men's track places 3 in indoor meet

AMES, Iowa — Three Ottawa University men’s track team members placed in the top seven Friday and Saturday in the Iowa State University Open in Ames, Iowa.
Dexter Hayes, who is also a member of the Ottawa football team, finished third in the high jump with a jump of 6 feet, 4 inches. He was an All-conference kick returner for the Braves. Nakoah Brown was seventh in the high jump at 6-2.

Ryin Brandt finished fourth in the pole vault at 14-05.5.
He was selected the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s indoor track athlete of the week.
Ottawa competes Friday in the Jayhawk Classic in Lawrence.
