A prescription for Kansas?

I found it disturbing that the election of Scott Brown to represent Massachusetts as a U.S. Senator could disrupt the system to such an extent. There is something seriously wrong when we are so vulnerable to a single event or individual. And this is the second time only recently; the first being when the jerk from Nebraska held the system hostage until he got his way.

These events are exactly what we voters need to have in mind as we decide who will be our next senator or representative.
