Petition takes aim at mayor

A petition with 176 signatures was presented to Pomona Mayor Joann Hancock Tuesday night in front of more than 60 audience members, requesting she resign immediately because of an inability to govern within present guidelines.

Walter Cunningham submitted the petition and helped gather names for it, he said.
