Sheriff urges caution on buying cameras to catch vandals in the act at Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — The problem with wildlife security cameras is they don’t do very well in the dark, Franklin County Sheriff Craig Davis told the Williamsburg City Council Monday night.

The cameras have been an ongoing discussion for the past few months at the meetings after recent vandalism acts, including spray painting and public disturbances, have gone unpunished.
