Vacancy follows official’s resignation

Despite financial challenges that face all school districts, Central Heights is in a good position to attract a qualified superintendent candidate, its board president said Wednesday.

The district is expected to hire an interim superintendent within the next two weeks following Jim Reece’s resignation from the position Monday, board president Ron Sluder said.
