Allegiance Cable finds new home

Allegiance Cable’s move gives customers a better location and a better facility, Greg Harrison says.

“We just did this for the customers in Ottawa,” Harrison, vice president of regulatory affairs for Allegiance, said.

Allegiance, formerly at 209 W. Second St. in Ottawa, moved this week to 118 W. 15th St.

“It’s really what we were looking for,” Harrison said of the new location. “We did some minor remodeling and things of that nature.”

At one time, the building housed Pizza Hut, he said.

“It was converted into an office facility prior to us moving in,” Harrison said.

The building, which is owned by Peoples Bank, is smaller than Allegiance’s previous office.

“We had a lot of wasted space,” Harrison said of the former office.

He said Allegiance began the moving process in mid-January.

“It’s a better facility to do business,” Harrison said.
