Members of the Ottawa Herald staff were recognized Friday by the William Allen White Foundation at the University of Kansas for receiving the 2009 Burton W. Marvin Kansas News Enterprise Award. The Herald earned the award for its five-day series detailing economic turmoil in Ottawa and Franklin County.
