Rural shop burns early Monday

By The Herald Staff

A shop building on Nebraska Road burned down early Monday morning in rural Franklin County.

Shawn Scott, 26, Ottawa, told Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies he was staying at the residence at 1977 Nebraska Road when he noticed the shop building was on fire, according to a sheriff’s report.
