Eagles boiling over Mardi Gras

By The Herald Staff | 2/6/2013

Ottawa’s Fraternal Order of Eagles is planning a Mardi Gras party to benefit a Kansas camp designed to help blind and visually impaired children.

The group has set the party and a Cajun-style shrimp boil for 6 p.m. Friday at 524 E. 15th St., Ottawa. The event is expected to benefit Heather’s Camp, based in Wichita.

The “Tone Benders” will provide live music during the festivities, Eagles organizers said in a press release.
