More than 70 people turned out Saturday for a Legislative Coffee at Ottawa City Hall. The coffee gave community members a chance to ask questions of their Kansas senators and representatives.

Lawmakers frustrated with slow budget process

Just four weeks into the 2010 legislative session, area legislators say they are frustrated and disappointed with a lack of progress on the state’s budget woes.

Legislators met with residents Saturday morning for a Legislative Coffee at Ottawa City Hall, 101 S. Hickory St. The coffees are the first Saturday of each month during the legislative session.
