Tattoos — A once-taboo trend

Paul Coughlin, 32, Ottawa, got his first tattoo at 18 and now has 14. Tattoos run in Coughlin’s family. His older brother is a tattoo artist. “He’s not a tattoo artist, though. He’s an artist that does tattoos.” Coughlin said. “My tattoos are all things about me. They’re not just something that was a casual thought. It’s tattoos like that, that really define a person.”
