Jim Tinkham, certified executive chef at CenterPoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo., prepares tofu stir-fry Wednesday for eighth grade students in a Family and Consumer Science class at Ottawa Middle School, 1230 S. Ash St., Ottawa. Tinkham visited both Ottawa Middle School and Ottawa High School as part of the “Chefs 2 Schools” program sponsored by Chartwells food services.
