Pomona keeping trash service

POMONA — Pomona City Council members voted unanimously at their meeting last week to stay with Ottawa Sanitation as the city’s trash service for the coming year.

The decision was made after Mayor Joann Hancock presented other services and prices at the meeting after requests from Pomona residents. The current contract with Ottawa Sanitation expires March 31.
