KVC Behavioral Healthcare Inc. has canceled its informational session scheduled for today in Ottawa, because of inclement weather, KVC representatives said.
KVC is a private, nonprofit organization that serves thousands of children and families by providing medical and behavioral healthcare, social services and education, according to a KVC news release.
Representatives of the organization said they plan to visit communities in eastern Kansas during February and March to give interested residents an opportunity to learn more about the organization and job opportunities, resulting from recently awarded state contracts.
The organization has scheduled an informational session 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at First Baptist Church, 410 S. Hickory St., Ottawa. KVC representatives plan to make a one-hour presentation at the start of the meeting, as well as provide attendees with the opportunity to meet KVC staff and learn more about the application process, the release said.
Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the session and go to www.kvc.org to view and apply for job openings.
