Pomona council candidates aim for spots on the ballot

POMONA — A former mayor, a middle school principal and the current mayor’s husband are three out of the seven people who are vying for city council seats at the primary election today in Pomona.

Richard Adler, Rick Smith, Rex Hancock, Marlow Slavins and Walter Cunningham, in addition to two incumbents, will be on the ballot today for three open spots.
