Board could cut principal to half time

By COURTNEY SERVAES, Herald Staff Writer

A longtime Ottawa principal soon may be reduced to part time, Superintendent Dean Katt said at Monday night’s school board meeting.

Katt said the school board is considering reducing the position of Eisenhower Elementary School principal from full time to part time. Nancy Johnson, who has served in the school district for more than 30 years, is principal at the elementary school.
