SERMON: Resurrection of Jesus Christ (The Easter Story)

It was God’s plan for his son, Jesus, to die and rise again. Jesus had told others what would happen and they still did not understand. After Jesus rose from the grave, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that Jesus was gone. She told the apostles and they did not believe her either. Peter went to the tomb and he didn’t know what had happened. Everyone was confused.

But, Jesus had risen from the dead and fulfilled his promises.
