WHS students successful at PSU math relays

Wellsville High School competed against more than 50 schools from Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas April 15 at the 40th Annual Pittsburg State University Math Relays.
Sophomore Hey Jen Kim captured first place in algebra simplifications and in algebra equations and inequalities.
Senior Alex Bachman tied for sixth in trigonometry.
The algebra medley team of seniors Alex Bachman and Jordan Buckley and sophomores Hey Jen Kim and Billy Harris finished fourth.
The calculator team tied for eighth place. Members included seniors Bethanie Hurley and Kyle Harris and juniors Dakota Knudeson and Amy Dickey.
The trigonometry team of Bachman, Buckley, Kim and Kyle Harris finished in third place.
Senior Amiee Charles helped record results for and was a substitute if needed.
