Weber gains certification as a library administrator

TOPEKA — State Librarian Christie P. Brandau announced April 23 that Connie A. Weber of the Richmond Public Library has attained the credential of Kansas Certified Public Library Administrator, Level III.

This certification is awarded by the State Library of Kansas in Topeka through the “Reaching for Excellence” program.

“Reaching for Excellence recognizes the importance of well trained and highly skilled public library administrators and their importance to Kansas library service” Brandau said.

“I congratulate Connie on taking the steps to become a certified public library administrator,” she said.

Weber has worked at the Richmond Public Library for 10 years and has been library director for five years.
