VIRGIL H. HERMRECK

Virgil H. Hermreck, 77, Williamsburg, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, near Williamsburg.

He was born Feb. 16, 1932, at Richmond to Lee and Clara (Brown) Hermreck.

He graduated from the Richmond High School in 1950.

He was a farmer and stockman in the Williamsburg area.

He married Barbara McMillen June 19, 1951, at Richmond. They shared more than 57 years of marriage. She survives.

Survivors also include sons, Ron Hermreck, Princeton, Mike Hermreck, and his wife, Teresa, Williamsburg, and Timothy Hermreck, and his wife, Cindy, New Mexico; a daughter, Deb Gregory, and her husband, Ron, Arkansas; brothers, Brownie Hermreck, and his wife, Bev, Garnett, Arlo Hermreck, and his wife, Sandra, Kansas City, and Dave Hermreck, and his wife, Mary Ann, Minnesota; sisters, Neva Lea McGrath, Williamsburg, Joann Oswald, and her husband, Bob, Gardner, and Lynneda Sullivan, Kansas City; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Doug; and a sister Joan.

Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends after the Rosary until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
