Accident

Took a non injury accident report from 24yo Brianna Fagan of Burlington KS. Brianna was driving a white van north bound on Colorado Rd when a monte carlo driven by 16yo Chandler Morgan of Ottawa ran a stop sign at Rock Creek road turned north bound on Colorado road and was struck in the driver’s side door by Fagan’s vehicle. Passengers in the van were 20yo Colten Coffin of Wellsville KS, 11yo Andrew Smith of Pomona KS, and 7yo Zoey Boggs also of Pomona KS. Passengers in the Monte Carlo were 16yo Oslidil of Ottawa KS, and 14yo Jaid Larios of rural Pomona. Morgan’s vehicle was towed by TT&T at owners request.

Arrest

Arrested 19 year old Matthew Baily of Ottawa on a Franklin County Warrant. Baily was arrested on a $3000 probation violation warrant along with a no bond warrant out of Cherokee County Warrant.

Unlawful Use of a Financial Card x4

715 West 2nd (Ottawa Police Department), 1136 hours, a 51 year-old male from Ottawa reported his financial card was used at several local businesses and ATM’s after he had his wallet taken.

Auto Accident (Property)

15th and Cedar, 1208 hours, a vehicle driven by a Chad Blankenship 43-year-old Ottawa male was struck from behind as he was stopped awaiting a turn by another vehicle driven by a Larry Brockus 53-year-old Princeton male. Blankenship was issued a citation for following too closely.
