• Dr. Lewis V. Spencer of the Ottawa University physics department will be an official member of the United States delegation to a science conference in Paris, June 16 and 17. He will attend the session as a staff member of the Bureau of Standards.

• Today, 43-year-old Walter Butler was to put up a sign, changing the name from Saunders Music Store to “Butler’s.”

Mr. Saunders, who opened the store in 1899 and died in 1953, put Butler to work with a broom and later in the repair shop when the youth first came to town in 1934.
