Man hit while lying in roadway

A 35-year-old man was listed in stable condition at an Overland Park hospital Wednesday after he was hit by a car.

Jason Wylie was lying in the roadway on Vermont Road near Rantoul at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning when Jenna Rowe, 19, hit him with her 2004 Pontiac, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office said.

Wylie was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital after the accident, the sheriff’s office said. Rowe wasn’t injured and her car was not damaged.
