• Bonnie J. Gould, Wellsville, was named 1959 Franklin County dairy princess today. Mary Alice Johnson, Williamsburg was runner-up.

Miss Gould is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Gould of Wellsville. She was sponsored by the Wellsville Chamber of Commerce. A 1959 graduate of Wellsville High School, she is 17 years old. While in school she was on the school honor roll and belonged to a number of organizations and is a 4-H member. Miss Gould lists as talents singing, dancing, and playing the piano and cornet.

Miss Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Williamsburg. She is 19 and attends Kansas State Teachers college at Emporia, where she will be a sophomore in elementary education. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1958, where she was a class officer and member of the annual staff. Miss Johnson has a state scholarship at the college. She was sponsored by the Ottawa Business and Porfessional Women’s Club.
