CH announces dates for FB camp
The Central Heights High School football team camp will be July 6 through 10 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The fee is $30, payable on the first day of camp.
Franklin agrees to deal with Chiefs
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs said Wednesday they have reached agreement on a four-year contract with rookie receiver Will Franklin.
Terms of the deal were not announced.
The Chiefs selected the 6-foot, 209-pound Franklin in the fourth round of this year’s draft. The Chiefs already reached agreement with fifth-round pick Brandon Carr.
In 48 games at Missouri, Franklin caught 143 passes for 2,125 yards and 13 touchdowns.
