CLARA DOROTHY PEINE

Clara Dorothy Peine, 93, Richmond, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Country View Nursing Home, in Prescott. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Scipio.

She was born July 18, 1915, at Richmond to Joseph and Jane (Strobel) Setter.

She attended Round Prairie School until the eighth grade.

She married Clarence Joseph Peine June 13, 1942, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scipio. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Dorothy Davis; a grandson; sisters, Elizabeth Setter; Mary Platt, Katherine Hess, Cecelia Rubick, Helen Lutz and Ann Dyrdek; brothers, Bernard Setter; Mike Setter and Anthony “Tony” Setter.

Survivors include sons, Eugene Edward Peine, Garnett, and Joseph John Peine, Fulton; daughters, Mary Cecilia Pracht, of Westphalia, and Darlene Blaufuss, of Richmond; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at the St. Boniface Cemetery, Scipio.

The family will be meet with friends after a rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church in Scipio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Country View Nursing Home.
