Thanks for the answers

I need to say a big “thank you” to Richard Nienstedt, Ottawa city manager, for answering questions I had about city policies. Nienstedt answered in written form and in a personal meeting that also included Leslie Quillen, executive assistant to the city manager, and, at my request, Sara Humm, mayor pro-tem and city commissioner. Humm thanked me by mail for asking questions.

The commissioners need to know what’s on your mind, so they will know which issues to deal with. For city questions, the librarians will help when available and if needed. The best bet is www.ottawakansas.com
