Dawson Joseph Sheler was born at 9:31 a.m. May 20, 2009, at Via-Christi-St. Joseph’s Hospital, Wichita, to C.J. and Haleigh Sheler, Wichita.

He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19.75 inches long.

Grandparents are Bill and Kris Hansen, Beloit, and Clifford and Patty Sheler, Ottawa.

Great-grandparents are Rachel Moritz, Beloit; Joann Hansen-Simmons and Jo Dean Simmons, Beloit; and Laura Elder, Butler, Mo.

Dawson has many excited aunts, uncles, and cousins to help celebrate his arrival.
