This is one of Jim Richardson’s National Geographic photos of the Flint Hills to be featured in a new exhibit beginning Aug. 4 at the Walker Art Gallery in Garnett. The traveling exhibit of 32 National Geographic Society photos, “The Flint Hills: A Kansas Treasure,” by Richardson will be on display Aug. 4 through Aug. 11 and is free to the public.

Exhibit showcases sights of picturesque Flint Hills

GARNETT — The raw-boned beauty of the Flint Hills will be on display in Garnett in early August.

A traveling exhibit of National Geographic Society photos, “The Flint Hills: A Kansas Treasure,” by Kansas photojournalist Jim Richardson will be on display Aug. 4 through Aug. 11 at the Walker Art Gallery, Garnett.
