JAMES ‘SMOKE’ HOGUE

James “Smoke” Hogue, 60, Carlsbad, N.M., died Aug. 24, 2009, at his home. Services will be at a later date.

He was born Sept. 1, 1948, at Ottawa to James Robert and Marjorie Viola (Clark) Hogue.

He graduated from Pomona High School in 1966.

He was a rancher.

Survivors include twin sons, Justin Hogue, Lewisville, Texas, and Jeramie Hogue, Carlsbad, N.M.; three grandchildren; parents, James and Marjorie Hogue, Las Cruces, N.M.; a brother, Ty Hogue, Burlington, Wisc.; and a sister, Heidi Martinez, Las Cruces, N.M.
