When the kids fly the coop, feather your nest!

There are many great things about living in an empty nest. The best, in my book, is when the kids are finally grown and gone you get to feather that nest any way you like.

While it might seem ideal to start a make-over in the kitchen or family room after a house has suffered years at the abuse of children, those rooms are far too public. What Mom and Dad really need is a space of their own, created especially, and catering specifically, to them.

Generally that means the master bedroom. A Web shop I’ve found has everything you’ll need to create a quiet haven for two people who have probably spent at least the last 20 years with very little tranquility.

The shop offers bedding basics and ensembles, rugs, decorative accents, window coverings and wall decor.

The prices are comparable to a mid-high end department store. As an example, I got a framed print of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero for just more than $100.

The selection is enough to satisfy almost any taste and navigation is simple. Delivery is quick and the products are outstanding in quality.
