Official: Intermodal pollution unlikely to impact local prospects

Concerns about increased air pollution in the area from a proposed railway intermodal probably won’t have much impact in Franklin County, a local economic development expert said.

Air-quality experts in Kansas City joined other groups about concerns over a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway proposal to build a freight center in Johnson County.
