Central Heights extends deadline for board opening

By The Herald Staff

Only one person has applied for an opening on the Central Heights School District board, so the board is extending the deadline for one month.

The district has received just one application for an at-large position previously held by Tony Johnson, who resigned Aug. 17. The deadline was Monday.

To apply for the position, submit a letter of interest to 3521 Ellis Road, Richmond KS 66080 by the next school board meeting, which is Oct. 19.
