Seasonal festival falls on Saturday

POMONA — Although fall already has begun, one city will make it official Saturday.

The second annual Pomona Fall Festival is scheduled for all day Saturday. The event is sponsored by the Pomona Merchants Association.

A car, motorcycle and tractor show, hay rides, food, crafts, a parade and more will highlight the event.

Activities include:

• 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. — Breakfast, Pomona City Hall and Community Building, 219 W. A St.

• 8 a.m. — 5K run at Pomona Lake

• 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — Car and motorcycle show in the park. Tractor show on Franklin Street starting at Smokemasters BBQ extending west

• 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Hay rides provided by Hoyt Farms. Pick-up is in front of Amanda’s Country Cuts, south side of K-68

• 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Food and craft vendors on Franklin Street

• 10 a.m. — Bingo at the community building

• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Kid Zone at Mike’s Restoration on Franklin Street

• Noon — Washers tournament at the park

• 2:30 p.m. — Car, motorcycle and tractor show awards in the park

• 3 p.m. — Parade line up on the west side of the school

• 4 p.m. — Parade on Franklin Street

• 5 p.m. — Raffle winners announced
