CH Spikes Foes in Tourney

The Central Heights High School volleyball team went 6-0 Saturday to win the De Soto Invitational. The Vikings defeated Baldwin (25-17, 15-19), Tonganoxie (28-26,25-23), Basehor-Linwood (25-16, 25-21), De Soto (25-10, 25-22), Jeff North (25-10, 25-20) and Tonganoxie (26-24, 25-15) The team members are front Casey Droddy; second row, Karly Schulte, Jessica Smith, Marissa Cox, Katelin Horstick, Maggie Cotter and Cecilia Wuertz. The Vikings improved to 25-4.
