WELLSVILLE — Around the holidays, Carolyn Grimm decorates every room in her home. Every room but the master bathroom.

Grimm’s Wellsville home is featured in the November 2009 issue of Country Sampler.

“They just called me up the year before last,” she said. “They wanted to know if I decorated for Christmas and I said, ‘You better believe it.’”

The home’s kitchen was featured in the magazine in 1999.

“People just like this kind of stuff,” Grimm said. “They just like to come by and see the house.”

Grimm loves Christmas. It is her favorite time of year, and she loves traditions surrounding the holidays. She enjoys decorating as well as writing, decorating and painting murals.

“I guess you could call me an ‘artsy-fartsy’ kind of person,” she said.

Because she travels during most of the year, Grimm said she goes all out for the holidays. She has a silo on her property that she has filled with Christmas decorations.

“I decorate every room but the master bathroom,” she said. “It’s just a family tradition, and we’re all about the family traditions here.”

Grimm decorated her home in red, green and yellows and used garlands and wreaths to make her home look extraordinary for the magazine.

Her home is featured in the magazine and online at www.sampler.com
