Robert Knight, (77) of Princeton Kansas, was driving a 1997 Lincoln and struck a 2002 Mercury sable driven by 80 year old Melvin Stockard.  Damage was over $1000 report taken.  Accident occurred in the 300 block of Galveston in Princeton.

a 25 year-old Ottawa female, reported that her and her husband had property stolen from the property at 2100 block of Reno Terr.  Her husband is a 28 year-old Ottawa male.  Items stolen were a go-cart, radar detector, winch, and jumper cables.  Loss estimated at $1,300.00.

Catherine Bishop of Rural Ottawa was driving in the 4500 Tennessee road when she struck a mail box.  Report taken.

1989 neon green Ford Aerostar appeared abandoned with the tag and all contents removed.  Vehicle was parked in the ditch for over 24hrs and was towed by Bell's Wrecker.

Motor Vehicle Accident

2200 South Princeton, 1119 hours, Vera Weber 83 year old female from Ottawa struck a vehicle driven by James Willhite 47 year old male from Ottawa.  Weber was cited for inattentive driving. 

Removal of Theft Detection Device, Theft

2101 South Princeton Street (Wal-Mart), 1300 hours, Phillip Bond 38 year old male from Ottawa and Angela Brashier 36 year old female from Ottawa were arrested for removal of theft detection devices and theft after they left the store without paying for merchandise.

Theft

400 block of West Wilson Street, 1517 hours, a 79 year old male from Ottawa reported the theft of a license plate by a known suspect.

200 block of South Main Street (Prairie Rose Gifts), 1749 hours,a 37 year old female from Ottawa reported the theft of merchandise by two unknown juveniles. 

2101 South Princeton Street (Wal-Mart), 1855 hours, Bradley Hogg 20 year old male from Garnett, Kansas and Felicia Bishop 18 year old female from Ottawa were issued notices to appear for theft after they left the store without paying for merchandise. 

600 block of North Cleveland Street, 0015 hours, Steven Hess 19 year-old Ottawa male was issued a notice to appear and released for stealing a gas can from a 43 year-old Ottawa male’s truck bed. 

1600 block of South Willow Street, 2007 hours, an 83 year-old Ottawa female became a victim of a theft scam three different times to an unknown suspect.

Domestic Battery

600 block of North Cedar Street, 0246 hours, Yvonne Scrutchfield 40 year-old Ottawa female was arrested after battering a 25 year-old Ottawa male.
