Melvern Fall Festival set for this weekend

MELVERN — A parade, hayride and more will highlight the Melvern Fall Festival and Craft Fair this weekend.

The event will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Melvern Community Center, 102 N.E. Main St.

A Halloween Costume Parade for pre-school through sixth grade students will begin at 1 p.m. at the community center, followed by a hayride around town. Hayride participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Hotdogs will be an alternate choice at the ham and bean dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the community center.

Salad and dessert also will be provided. Participants should meet at 7 p.m. at the community center for the hayride to a haunted house. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided afterward.
