ALBERT EUGENE ‘POOLIE’ CRANE

Albert Eugene “Poolie” Crane, 64, Lawrence, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at his home. Services will be announced by Warren-McElwain Mortuary.  

He was born May 13, 1945, to Albert Fermer and Geraldine (Porter) Crane at Lawrence.

He attended Lawrence Public schools and worked for the City of Lawrence for several years.

Survivors include sons, Richard Crane, New Orleans, La., Michael Turner, Denver, Colo., Albert Crane Jr., Lawrence, and Gerald Wright; daughters, Tunisia N. Crane and Victoria Crane, both of Lawrence;  two grandchildren; two sisters, Linda M. Turner and Marilyn Crane, both of Lawrence; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Beverly Jean Crane-Green; and a niece.
