Jaydin Lynne Maurer was born Sept. 23, 2009, at Raeford, N.C., to Christopher Stephen and Vicki Lynne (Owens) Maurer, Raeford, N.C.

She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long.
