The Windmill Cafe, 1010 N. Main St., was closed Friday after the owner reported she was robbed at knife-point at her home, then told to go to the business where she discovered someone had broken in and stolen the ATM machine. The cafe was expected to re-open at 7 a.m. today.

New hours follow knife-point robbery

Ottawa woman robbed, threatened at home; North Main Street restaurant also targeted

An Ottawa business owner said she’ll be making some changes after she reportedly was robbed at knife-point and threatened early Friday morning.

She’s changing the hours at her restaurant and taking security precautions as a result of the robbery.
