A hook without hang-ups

By LINDA BROWN

The age-old storage and clutter solution to most basements and garages is to hang garden tools, hoses, power cords, sporting equipment and more from hooks on the wall.

That solution has created its own set of problems unless sturdy hooks were set into wall studs or anchoring devices.

A new product from Tapset offers a variety of hooks with an anchoring system built in to the stud of each hook. After drilling a hole in the wall you simply wet the Tapset stud, tap the pin flush into the Tapset hook to release the adhesive and let it set for four hours and you’re ready to enjoy a lifetime of use.

Tapset hooks and hangers hold up well in areas of high moisture and humidity, are suitable for both interior and exterior use and will not rust or corrode.

The product line includes utility hooks to hang gardening tools, coat and hat hooks, shelf, closet and curtain mounts, eyelet hooks to anchor clothes lines or anywhere you need a tie down, hanging hooks and organizer hooks to hang ladders, 5 gallon pails and flower pots.

Most Tapset hooks come in packages of two, although larger packaging is also available. A typical double coat hook retails for $4.95.

The Tapset Web shop doesn’t offer online ordering, however, a distributor locator can direct you to the closest retail store offering Tapset products. You may also get more information by calling GNV Direct at (800) 803-4370.
