Not country music

I read in Wednesday’s Herald what George Jones said about country music. He is right.

The trash they play today is not, even in their wildest dreams, country music. I don’t know what it is, but it is not worth the electric the radio takes to listen to it.

Our local radio station plays it all the time, so I don’t listen to it anymore. They only have one person at the station that knows what country music is. His name is Bob Reusch. He is on Saturday mornings every other week. That is the only time I tune into local radio.

I love good country music, but the junk they play today is not it.
