LINTNER: Here’s a berry good idea

The die-hards were rewarded this weekend. Those who turned out to support our veterans were given the gift of a flawlessly beautiful day in addition to some terrific displays.

When you get a gift, you say ‘thank you,’ right? Well, our national day of thanks is coming up, bringing with it a host of traditions as varied as the celebrants themselves. I’m looking forward to continuing my recently started tradition of making real cranberry sauce — the kind that doesn’t make a rude noise coming out of a can.
