Fair trade, for sale

Ottawa University freshmen Cole Meeks, left, and Morgan Beckler browse fair trade products for sale Wednesday afternoon at Ottawa University, 1001 S. Cedar St., Ottawa. Fair trade is a term that refers to products made or produced by small-scale artisans or farmers in developing countries who are paid fair wages and prices for their goods. The goods were sold by Ottawa’s chapter of Amnesty International. Fair trade products will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Friday at the university cafeteria.
