A burn ban has been issued for Franklin County Monday.

Persisting dry and windy conditions promoted Vickie Eckard, the county’s emergency management coordinator, to issue a burn ban.

Open burning is not permitted under the burn ban. Trash may be burned in an enclosed barrel with a screen on top.
