Man says he was at store for beer, not to help with knife-point robbery

By COURTNEY SERVAES, Herald Staff Writer

Andrew Brandon Beauchamp says he didn’t know his friend Michael Powell was going to rob the Pomona’s Casey’s General Store in October.

Beauchamp, who will be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at Franklin County District Court, said the two were just going to pick up some beer, according to court documents.
