Unemployed in county outpacing neighbors

Kassy Moore, Ottawa, has been laid off before.

She’s worked for Midwest Cabinets, 1674 N. Industrial Ave., off and on for eight years and knows it isn’t unusual to get laid off around the holidays. She wasn’t surprised when she was laid off Sept. 25.
