VALLEY FALLS — The West Franklin High School girls basketball team got off to another slow start Friday in its 32-21 loss to Valley Falls in Valley Falls.

The Falcons fell behind 12-2 after the first quarter and played even with Valley Falls the final three quarters.

Bailey Whittington led the Falcons with nine points.

West Franklin plays 6 p.m. today at home against Council Grove.
