Casey’s General Store, 210 W. Franklin St., Pomona, opened to the public Thursday morning. The new store boasts a larger parking lot, more fuel pumps and easier access than the store’s former Pomona location at 135 W. Franklin St. The store will have a grand opening celebration today from 10 a.m. to noon.

New Casey's store’s arrival caps months of controversy

Despite a history of controversy, Pomona unveiled its new Casey’s General Store Wednesday.

Residents and customers this week are getting their first look at the new business, built at the site of the former Buzzard’s Pizza and Smokehouse BBQ in the 200 block of East Franklin Street.
